Exmouth, Walks info page 1

Where the river Exe meets the sea, this seaside resort is a good base to explore this part of the coast and its inland towns and villages

Plantation Walk

Plantation Walk Below The Beacon along the Seafront. Description of the walk with 12 photos. Also known as Madeira Walk. It is a lovely shaded walk amongst trees and bushes and flowers that extends behind the sea front.

The River Exe has access from the Imperial Recreation Ground (near the railway station). It's at the start of the lovely river walk to Lympstone

Keen cyclists can ride the cycle route from Exmouth to Budleigh Salterton along Buzzard Way.

The Strand Gardens with its trees and flower displays. Its very nice to sit a while in summer, a midday break away from the heat of the beach, a good meeting spot being in the centre of town.
360° view: The Strand

Exeter Road has some great smaller shops and Businesses, Churches and the Museum etc.

History Read about Exmouth's History and see many old photos and paintings of old Exmouth.
